As Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi once said, "The existence of ghost stories is what makes Hong Kong precious." The emergence of local ghost legends often reflects the social conditions, prevailing atmosphere, and unique historical context of the time, making them worthy of documentation and preservation. We hope to explore Hong Kong's centennial history, culture, and identity by compiling a collection of Hong Kong's folk ghost legends spanning a hundred years. "Specters" uses "shokugan" stickers as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost stories. This type of shokugan sticker first appeared in 1977, included with Japanese snack packaging. They are typically 4.8 x 4.8cm and commonly referred to as "chocolate biscuit stickers," "shokugan stickers," or "biscuit stickers." In the 80s and 90s, influenced by Japanese pop culture, these "shokugan stickers" became a cherished collective childhood memory for many Hongkongers. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories and combined them with shokugan stickers to create a new medium, documenting a "Compendium of Monsters" belonging to Hong Kong in a richly illustrated format. The project features 100 shokugan stickers themed around Hong Kong ghost stories. For each tale, we've created a monster character along with a brief description. The stickers incorporate special printing effects such as laser sparkle, hot foil stamping, and silver foil stamping to enhance the collectibility of "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Specters." The "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Specters" sticker series compiles stories of a hundred local specters, with original illustrations and text bringing these enigmatic tales to life. Volume 3 includes "Tuen Mun Carp Spirit," "Lutsin," "Knife Fish," and "Lam Tin Water Demon."
