Chusstudio99 transforms her hand-drawn illustrations of Mazu, sketched during her pilgrimage, into a set of 12 postcards produced with stencil printing.
Each postcard features a travel aphorism and a hidden fortune slip (14 unique slips in total, one randomly included).
The set is folded in the traditional style of a平安符 (peace charm) and tied with a knot on the envelope, symbolizing the 13 clever strategies for traveling with Mazu.
The postcard envelope is inspired by a stylized, enlarged version of a temple incense pouch. Hand-silk-screened with black and gold patterns, it offers positive energy, support, and encouragement for life's journey.
Let's embark on a heartfelt journey alongside Mazu together!

*About Stencil Printing|
This printing method uses stencils, where a separate screen is created for each color. Ink is pressed through the fine mesh of the screen. Subtle variations in the ink coverage, akin to screen printing or printmaking, are characteristic of this technique.
Printed with soy-based ink, each color is applied individually, resulting in slight, random misalignments and variations in color uniformity. Where inks overlap, subtle color blending occurs, creating a unique and inimitable appearance for each piece.
