These are not flaws but rather organic charms. Please refrain from purchasing if you do not appreciate these characteristics. * Wood firing requires continuous firing for four days and three nights, followed by a week of slow cooling in the kiln. The firing process is extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive, which is why wood-fired pieces are so precious. * During the wood-firing process, the natural ash glaze colors vary depending on the placement within the kiln and other variables. It is fitting to describe wood-fired pieces as "once-in-a-lifetime" creations. Each work receives colors gifted by nature, making no two wood-fired pieces exactly alike and imbuing them with unique value. * Usage is no different from regular tableware. Do not heat directly over a flame. Simply rinse the surface with clean water and soak in warm water for a few minutes before draining. Allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
