The clasp at the end of the chain is a C-clasp; pulling forcefully can enlarge the opening and cause loosening, so please avoid excessive pulling. Occasionally, you can open the bottle cap to allow the interior to air dry. For example, after approximately every 4-5 uses, open the cap to let the inside of the bottle and the cap dry completely.
