The bracelet features high-quality, acid-washed vintage tourmaline, with some beads exhibiting a cat's eye effect. Three yellow tourmaline beads contain resin but are not acid-washed; the others are natural, undyed, and resin-free (triple-free). Over the past few years, it's been observed that yellow tourmalines often contain injected resin. However, without this yellow hue, the piece might lack a certain charm. (Please refrain from lamenting the resin in the yellow tourmalines; some untreated tourmalines are treated with resin before polishing. Many tourmalines today are colored and resin-filled beads. In 2010, I obtained a Level B Certification for Gold and Silver Jewelry Processing. In 2013, I passed the Gem-A FGA (Fellowship of the Gemmological Association) Colored Gemstone Diploma from the Gemmological Institute of Great Britain.
