Inspired by the traditional Chinese Mamian skirt. A meticulous deconstruction and integration of traditional Chinese craftsmanship with modern techniques. Retains the characteristic pleating on both sides of the Mamian skirt. Features 16 knife pleats, narrowing at the top and widening at the bottom. The pleats are heat-set for lasting shape and resilience, creating an A-line silhouette that is flattering and slimming. Preserves the symmetrical overlapping placket design of the traditional Mamian skirt. Horn buttons adorn the overlapping front and back plackets. The split hem height can be freely adjusted, allowing for more dynamic and natural movement. The interior is lined with a satin slip, offering a smooth, soft, and delicate feel against the skin. This lining helps prevent static cling and gives the skirt a more structured drape. Traditional Mamian skirts are secured with ties at the waist. For ease of wear, we've replaced this with a full button closure and incorporated a Western-style waistband. This enhances comfort and provides a more polished, structured appearance. Regarding the length, we envisioned the Mamian skirt as more than just a symbol of tradition. We experimented with a shorter length for the first time, presenting it in a mini-skirt style. This opens up a wider range of styling possibilities. As autumn arrives, we've extended the length of the mini-skirt. Narrowing at the top and widening at the bottom, with a balanced flow.
