It is a descendant of the South Asian hunting dog. Loyal and bold, the Formosan Mountain Dog was once a trusted companion for hunters in the forests. In 2015, the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) officially recognized it as the Taiwan Dog. These Lunar New Year couplets are printed on 200lb Raine paper, a firm material that resists bending and features a delicate crosshatch texture, ideal for elegantly gracing your front door to welcome the Lunar New Year.
