This necklace is crafted by linking vintage Indian metal tops, white & blue beads, ancient agate, Mizoram carnelian, and old Oriya brass, among other elements.
The metal parts used for the top are sourced from India.
While the exact era is unknown, they are vintage or older.
You can appreciate the wear and character unique to old metal!
(Metal part dimensions: 2.7cm length, 1.8cm width)
The bell next to the top is a piece from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan. It was originally part of adornments and is an old item.
Ancient agate, featuring a jet-black body with white and brown stripes, has been incorporated. These stones were unearthed in the Indus River basin, spanning regions like Pakistan and India, and date back approximately 2,000 years. They are exquisitely beautiful agate stones, showcasing delicate striped patterns.
The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian. These are heirloom pieces from around the 18th century, originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India.
Their color variations lend them a rich and expressive quality!
The blue beads are antique beads known as Indopacific beads.
The origins of Indopacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BCE.
These particular beads were unearthed in Indonesia and are an astonishing 1,000 years old, dating from around the 10th century!
A single blue bead has also been used for the clasp's loop.
The white beads are antique beads from Venice (19th-20th century).
These were made in Venice and passed down through generations in Myanmar. They possess a lovely patina and exude a wonderful atmosphere!
The anchor-like charm next to the ancient agate, alongside the golden beads, is old Oriya brass. These are old and rare beads from the state of Odisha in India.
The charm on the clasp is also an old brass part from India.
The plump, pot-shaped silver beads next to the larger blue beads are exceptionally rare old Chin silver. These are heirloom pieces from around the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. Used by Chin women for necklaces and other adornments, they display unique wear and endearing imperfections.
Their substantial feel and presence are unparalleled compared to modern silver (though modern silver pieces can also be stylish...). These antique beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years.
The clasp, which has a gently curved form, and the beads on the loop are Karen silver.
Each small Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped!
The thought that each one is handmade is truly awe-inspiring...

Each piece is handmade and is said to have a very high purity.
