With just one photo and an afternoon,
you can complete a piece that belongs to you and your furry friend.

【Course Format】
・This course focuses on "flat wool felt embroidery art."
・Not a 3D relief (will not be significantly raised).
・Completed within a 15 × 15 cm embroidery hoop.
・This is a one-day experiential workshop.
・The artwork style is impressionistic; it will not be an exact replica of the sample.
・Details can be adjusted at home after the class.
★ For those interested in learning more refined and realistic techniques, an advanced "Freehand Embroidery Art Creation" class will be offered later.
【Photo Preparation Guidelines】
Please provide a clear, close-up photo of your pet before the class.
Avoid:
・Photos that are too dark or have a yellowish hue.
・Overexposed photos.
・Blurry images.
★ A slight side profile is recommended to better capture the pet's dimensionality and character.

For dog breeds with curly fur or lighter-colored coats, please choose the ★ Curly-Coated Dog Special Session.

Due to differences in the creation process,
the artwork will feature a subtle relief effect of approximately 0.5 cm.
Special fibers (silk, mohair) will be used,
and pre-treatment for curly fur will be applied.

【Location】
A shared space near NTU Hospital to Minquan West Road MRT Station (approx. 10-minute walk from the MRT station).
The exact classroom location will be confirmed the evening before the class and notified to registered students via SMS and email. Please check your messages.

・Felting pad (a sturdy pad, at least 15x15cm, that allows needles to penetrate)
・Star needle (recommended for class) or fine needle felting needle
・Portable power bank (to maintain phone power for viewing reference photos during creation)

【Important Notes】
● Please bring your own basic wool felt tools or purchase them through us. Other tools will be available for loan at the venue: small scissors, awl, pins, glue, wet felting and sewing tools.
● Students may bring their own boxes to take their creations home. Minor fuzzing due to friction is normal and can be trimmed with small scissors.
● Completion times vary among individuals. Please follow the instructor's steps. The techniques will be thoroughly taught in class, and details can be refined at home.
● Different courses may be conducted simultaneously. A minimum of 4 participants per time slot is required for the class to proceed.
● To maintain quality, observing, visiting, accompanying, or sharing a project between two people is not permitted.
● Participants agree that the organizers may take photos at the event for promotional use on online platforms.
【Cancellation and Leave of Absence Policy】
To ensure course quality and the rights of other students, please confirm your ability to comply with the following regulations before registering. Registration implies agreement and adherence. Thank you.
I. Student-Initiated Cancellation/Leave of Absence
Course fees are generally non-refundable.
Each course allows for one cancellation. Subsequent cancellations will result in the materials package being mailed out.
The official time of contact with the "Mao Qi Lai Wan Official Platform" will be considered. Direct private messages to the instructor do not constitute a formal cancellation or leave of absence notification.
Cancellation Timing and Processing:
15 days or more before the class date: Fees can be held and transferred to another course (additional payment may be required for price differences).
Within 14 days before the class date: A deduction of $600 × total number of course sessions will be made from the retained amount.
Cancellation 3 days before the class date: Half of the course fee will be deducted (if half is less than $600, $600 will be charged), and the materials package will be mailed out.
Cancellation on the class day: Fees will not be retained, and the materials package will be mailed out.
II. Tardiness and Absence
Tardiness or early departure exceeding 1/3 of the total course duration will be considered an absence, and admission will be denied.
III. Make-up Classes
For continuous courses requiring a separate make-up session, a fee of $200/hour will be charged.
Make-up classes must be scheduled by the student via private message to the "Mao Qi Lai Wan Official Platform." Notification will not be provided proactively.
IV. Other Information
For continuous courses, the date of the first session will be used as the reference for cancellations.
If the organizer cancels, participants will be notified of rescheduling or refunds.
In case of natural disasters (e.g., typhoons) resulting in school closures in the student's area or at the class location, a full refund will be issued.
