Symbiosis / Fern / White Porcelain Ring I am drawn to plants with a vining nature. Their ability to twine and climb is a testament to their will to survive, reaching towards the sun. Witnessing such vitality fills me with a sense of beauty and contentment. This contemplation led me to consider how humans, like buildings rooted in place and plants growing in their environment, might eventually intertwine and coexist with others. Thus, inspired by leaves that wrap around fingers, I have designed this white porcelain ring. * Please Note * 1. Each piece is meticulously crafted by hand, without the use of molds. Consequently, every ring possesses subtle variations, making each one unique. Please refer to the dimensions and accompanying images when making your selection. 2. Before firing, the clay is pliable and can be shaped by hand. Therefore, in this handmade creation, the ring exhibits a naturally rounded form, not a perfectly geometric circle. 3. To prevent the glazed surfaces from sticking to contact points during firing, a section of approximately 5mm to 1cm on the inner band of the white porcelain ring remains unglazed. Additionally, some rings may show minor firing marks on the inner band, resulting from contact with kiln furniture.
