Luminous Flow

A small sculptural form holding light, flow, and movement. Born from a single piece of clay, gently shaped within the hands. Its legs, too, rise from the same material. Soft curves rest quietly in the palms, suggesting a subtle sense of motion. On the exterior, tones shift from sky blue to pale blue, tracing the flow. Inside, a layer of pearl luster glaze catches the light, shimmering richly through the firing process. Glass placed at the center melts and circulates, leaving delicate traces of return and fine crackle patterns. As a vessel to receive sake, or as a small landscape where light emerges when gazed into. At times, simply as an object— also suitable as a jewelry holder or for small dishes and sake pairings.
