This shawl has an exotic scent and is made of fluffy fabric that has been carefully dyed using a technique called "arashi-taki dyeing," which has been handed down since the Edo period, in which the fabric is dyed slowly and carefully in a small pot. It is adorned with Indian embroidered ribbons.
The length is our "regular size" (approximately 150cm), which is long enough that when wrapped around the neck, both ends come under the chest.
Gauze voile is a thin material with a slightly transparent feel, but it is a comfortable fabric that can be used all year round. You can enjoy the good texture that is different from double gauze.
Since rough dyeing is done in small batches, the finished color varies slightly from pot to pot.
The fabric is kneaded over time, and the core of the thread loosens, softening the fibers and creating natural wrinkles that give it a natural look.
We have a selection of colors that give off a natural cotton-lint look and dull colors that blend well with the skin.
The Indian embroidered ribbons have also been carefully selected to match the colours of the fabric.
No two colors are the same, so enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Indian embroidered ribbon is made using tulle-based scallop lace.
Both ends are left uncut, but the material is unlikely to fray.
Due to friction when hanging, washing, or using the garment, threads may come out from the embroidered area, but please cut them off without pulling them.
Also, since this is an overseas product, there may be some slight differences in the pattern.
