Gently hand wash the item separately in warm water. Do not rub. 2. Do not use detergents containing color bleach, bleach, or optical brighteners. 3. For stubborn stains, dilute a neutral detergent for washing. 4. After washing, do not tumble dry or expose to direct sunlight. Dry in a cool, shaded area. 5. When washed after prolonged storage, yellow plant pigments may be released. This is due to impurities in the indigo plant; simply rinse with fresh water. 6. If storing for an extended period, wrap the item in a dark/black opaque bag and keep it in a wardrobe. This helps maintain color stability and prevents localized fading at creases.
