【Archiving The Mills Through the Lens】 - Indie Press - Paper

Product Description

Launched in 2016, two years prior to the re-opening of The Mills, Archiving The Mills Through The Lens is a photographic documentary project by five Hong Kong artists, namely Tse Ming Chong, Eric Chung, South Ho, Law Yuk Mui and anothermountainman (Stanley Wong). Through the photographs captured by these artists, accompanied by interviews and essays about the textile industrial history and heritage of Tsuen Wan and Hong Kong, this book documents the transformative journey during the landmark conservation of The Mills, the former cotton-spinning mills of Nan Fung Textiles. The photographic works were also featured in an exhibition in December 2018 under the same title at CHAT in The Mills.
