Organic Cotton Straight-Leg & Tapered Trousers for Yoga & Everyday Wear

With a passion for exploring different fabrics, I spent time living in Chiang Mai and encountered Japanese expatriates. They utilized locally grown, pesticide-free organic cotton, woven using traditional Thai-Burmese techniques. This resulted in fabrics that were kind to the earth and comfortable for the body, along with a range of products like clothing, towels, and handkerchiefs. Naturally, beyond purchasing these thoughtfully made items, I sought insights from the producers about their ideas and philosophy, and shared my experiences with material selection and usage. This year, I finally took a significant step. After several rounds of sampling with familiar manufacturers, and based on my own ideas and requirements, I developed a unique organic cotton fabric, distinct from the pre-made elastic organic cotton fabrics available commercially. This is the organic cotton fabric I envisioned, inspired by the seaside. Its characteristics include a light and soft feel when worn, strong absorbency due to the absence of pesticide residues, and it becomes even softer with each wash. As it's undyed, the natural cotton color is precisely the hue I adore. While most undyed organic cotton on the market is used for newborn products, we needed some for ourselves. So, I created a series of organic cotton items for our own use, and these organic cotton trousers are part of that collection. Their design is versatile, perfect for lounging at home and equally suitable for wearing out and about. You can choose to have pockets on both sides for everyday convenience, or, like me, if you wear them for yoga at home and want immediate comfort, you can opt for a version without pockets. Material: 100% pure organic cotton. Available in multiple colors, suitable for home wear. (The undyed natural color fabric is slightly sheer; other colors can be worn as outerwear.) Woven in Taiwan, hand-sewn by the seaside. Laid-flat measurements: Straight-leg trousers (model wearing natural color): Length approx. 82-85 cm, Hip circumference 60 cm, Thigh width 33 cm, Leg opening 21 cm, Front rise 28 cm, Back rise 35 cm, Waistband 35-50 cm. Tapered trousers: (Model wearing green in photos) Leg opening width laid flat is 19 cm on one side, Hip circumference laid flat is 56 cm, Thigh width laid flat is 28.5 cm, Front rise is 35 cm. The difference between the two styles lies in the longer rise of the tapered trousers. The straight-leg trousers have a front rise of approximately 30 cm.
