These are Yosegi-zaiku (traditional Japanese parquetry) Post and Clip-on earrings, a collaboration with Shokayo Kiln, which produces Hossyo-ji ware.
They are made from items that could not be sold from the kiln's output.
With a deep respect for wood, we've utilized timber from demolished houses and leftover construction materials. Each piece is designed with geometric patterns, highlighting the natural texture and warmth of the wood.
Finished with a 100% natural wax blend of beeswax and plant-derived oils.
Care Instructions:
If the luster fades or scratches become noticeable, apply a plant-based oil such as olive or camellia oil, then wipe with a dry cloth to restore the sheen.
Wood Types: Crafted from available materials including cherry, chestnut, cypress, beech, oak, cedar, Mizume, and ebony, among others.
Metal Fittings: Titanium, Silicone.
We offer complimentary conversion to clip-on earrings.
*Please note that the color and wood types may vary slightly between pieces.
