**[Yingge Origin Open Day 10/2 (Saturday) - 10/22 (Friday) ]**
__Origin of activity__
In the past, Yingge developed kilns due to the innate soil conditions, and relied on the convenience of transportation and railways to make the ceramics industry prosperous day by day, becoming a major ceramic town in Taiwan. However, with the aging of the population, the migration of labor force and the rising overseas competition, the Yingge ceramics industry has bid farewell to its prosperity and is facing an industrial gap. "Reviving the production area" is a topic that the next generation of the Yingge ceramics industry is beginning to face.
In 2022, the successors of Yingge Ceramics will join forces to create the "Yingge Ceramics Origin Open Day", with the concept of "showing how the Yingge Ceramics Origin operates" to create a comprehensive experience space that "triggers new things".
This year, the Origin Open Day will lead visitors to understand the technical strengths of the Yingge Ceramics Origin through factory visits, limited stores, craftsmanship sites, neighborhood tours, pick-and-choose items, Yingge table banquets and experiential workshops. , connecting Yingge Old Street and the factory into a comprehensive experiential space, guiding the public to understand the operating logic of the Yingge Ceramics production area one by one in the process.
