A dress made from yukata fabric, perfect for hot summer days.
The children in yukata you see at summer festivals are the cutest!
But it's hard to wear on a regular basis.
So I made a dress out of yukata fabric that can be worn on an everyday basis.
Yukata fabric becomes more absorbent and comfortable to wear the more you wash it, so wear it a lot this summer and wash it without hesitation.
There are different colors and patterns available, so please feel free to enjoy the beauty of Japanese dyeing.
■About the fabric
Fabric used: New yukata roll

Dyeing: Chusen Honzome
About Chusen
In Chū-sen dyeing, colors are poured into the fabric using a watering can-like tool, so the more colors used, the more work the artisan has to do.
That's why I think children's yukata fabric is the most luxurious.
A bolt of cloth that has been dyed repeatedly through tedious manual labor.
The color gradations and fluctuations are unique to the artisan's handiwork, and the colors are incredibly captivating.
Authentic dyeing with color extending all the way to the back.
Although we will no longer be able to sell our products at affordable prices, we hope to still be able to contribute in some small way to the provision of this wonderful handmade work.

■About washing
- Like denim, the color may fade slightly the first few times you wash it, so we recommend washing it by hand separately from other items.
Once the color has settled, you can place the item in a laundry net and wash it in the washing machine as usual.
- If left wet, the color may transfer, so lightly dehydrate it and then dry it immediately.
■What I want to say
・We make each item carefully and with love, but please forgive some distortion and differences in the pattern as they are handmade.
-The skirt is made by sewing together long, thin bolts of fabric, so there are several vertical seams.
-There are no pockets.
・As the size increases, the skirt will have less gathers.
・Photographs are taken using natural light, but colors may appear different depending on your monitor.
・This product is made to order.
