This is a single earring featuring Afghan metal, black rutilated quartz, London blue topaz, an abundance of stone beads, and an ethnic bell.
The heart-shaped component hails from Afghanistan and boasts a beautifully detailed, slightly raised pattern on both sides. This exquisite old piece showcases incredibly fine ornamentation and has a charmingly plump form. (Approximate size of heart component: 2.5cm vertically, 1.5cm horizontally, including the loop.) The top of the piece opens slightly.
The small bell is from the Kuchhi nomadic people of Afghanistan. It does not produce sound.
Accents include a square-cut black rutilated quartz, with a London blue topaz adding a touch of blue. Both are delicately framed by small, 18k gold-plated Karen silver beads.
The smaller stone beads are a mix of Labradorite, Smoky Quartz, and Garnet.
This single earring is a harmonious blend of vintage metalwork and the beauty of natural stones.
