Desire—kinship—memory
Recommended preface by Ji Tao
Uncover the hidden world of babies
Before cognition, there is desire
The lifelong struggle between baby, mother and the world
Babies have no memory and are the prototype of "I". Before the age of three, their ideology is a mystery. The inability to repeat or express does not mean that infants are ignorant. An infant has its own original desires, perceptions and impulses. There is a hidden world in its mind, a world where death, self and God have not yet entered. After consciousness takes shape, the hidden world remains hidden forever.
"I Am a Baby" analyzes the thoughts and thoughts of baby Rishan from birth to three years old, and his growth experience that few people can understand in depth: drastic changes in the external environment, thoughts of acquaintances and strangers, father and mother, mother and relationship How does the tug-of-war of his parents shape the world in front of him and shape his appearance?
Each of us lives clumsily and dies with regrets. None of us can trace back what made us grow into what we are now. We can only constantly reconstruct the scene of our growth and gradually get closer to the unsolved mystery.
