Additionally, the antique-style paint is made by L.co and meets the US FDA requirements for food contact surfaces. This means it is safe even if a baby accidentally licks it. It makes a perfect gift for birthdays or celebrations.
*As the paint is applied by hand, there may be individual differences in color density.

The Vanishing Art of "Yokoburi Machine Embroidery"
Most of pangan daran's bag embroideries are created using "Yokoburi machine embroidery."
People often ask, "How is Yokoburi different from regular machine embroidery?"
With standard machine embroidery, a computer reads the design and automatically stitches it. Therefore, every piece is uniform and identical.
On the other hand, "Yokoburi" is a craftsmanship technique where the artisan moves the fabric while stitching the design.
Because it is made by human hands, each piece has a different expression. No two embroideries are the same, and the finished product has a texture that looks almost like hand embroidery. It is an amazing skill where the artisan transfers the design to the fabric and, while looking at the original drawing, moves the fabric in sync with the needle's up-and-down motion.
Currently, there are only about 400 people in Vietnam who can do Yokoburi embroidery. Among them, only 50 can do it professionally. Furthermore, only 30 have passed Level 4, the highest rank in the embroidery certification. Among those, only 10 are skilled enough to stitch the complex designs required by pangan daran. But skill alone isn't enough. Yes, embroidery requires "sense." A slight nuance can drastically change the impression.
That is why pangan daran relies on Mr. Hung, who possesses the finest skills. Mr. Hung is currently 46 years old, but having started at 15, he is a veteran with 31 years of experience. Moreover, he has truly excellent taste. We trust him completely.
Due to recent economic development, traditional craft workplaces in Vietnam are facing tough situations without exception. Since 2000, the number of people capable of Yokoburi embroidery has been decreasing rapidly, and there are no young people learning the craft today.
It is expected that the number of artisans will continue to decrease, and Vietnamese Yokoburi embroidery is destined to be on the verge of extinction in another ten years or so.
In the video, the valuable skilled artisan Mr. Hung demonstrates stitching the "Sudden Rain" embroidery.
Please watch the beautiful embroidery being colored by his sure technique.
