Embroidered patches are often called embroidered cloth stickers, cloth patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery pieces. However, most embroidered cloth patches require ironing the adhesive backing to attach them to fabric materials or to cover holes in clothing. Hihi embroidery patches have adhesive on the back that doesn't require ironing, allowing them to be stuck onto smooth surfaces that are not fabric. They are perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more! Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Hihi embroidered patches are very simple to use~ ▪️ Non-fabric smooth surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing is needed, and they won't easily come off! ▪️ Fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to prevent high temperatures from damaging the embroidery thread. Iron back and forth for 20-25 seconds. Let it cool completely for a secure bond, and reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also be secure! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or materials you are unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand to secure it, to avoid damaging your fabric with high heat! 🏷 How is the adhesive on the embroidered patches? Will they fall off easily? Hihi embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive. They are not easily removed from general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If attaching to fabric (clothes, pants, hats, etc.), please iron to secure and sew for added durability~ 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend deciding on the placement before attaching! If you peel it off and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the embroidered patch? The adhesive on embroidered patches is strong. Some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive removers. Before cleaning, please check if your item's surface material is suitable for the cleaning agent to avoid damaging your item! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive on embroidered patches will melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
