This embroidered brooch is inspired by a one-seater sofa covered in crimson velvet.
By changing the direction of the threads in some parts, we created a plump look to the cushion.
The gold beads secured with transparent thread (filagan) are a nice accent so that the sewn parts are not noticeable.
The back side is made of brown leather. Felt is glued between the embroidery and the leather to increase strength, creating a three-layer structure.
I use a rotating brooch pin.
