ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) VOLNA-9 is a normal angle (standard) multi-coated (MC) lens for Zenit, Chinon and other SLR cameras with M42 screw lens mount. It can be used with a lot of digital cameras with the adapter. In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT The lens looks gently used before. It is very clean, without scratches, separations or fungus. Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is enough smooth too. Cosmetically lens looks in nice condition, just examine item's photos please. The lens was rebuilt to Nikon F bayonet, fits properly to My old Nikon film camera and have correct "infinity". Also fitted properly to My Nikon F/Mocro 4/3 lens adapter. You can see example photos taken with presented lens at F2.8 & F8 with the distance around 3m. I took it with my Olympus OM-D camera. All functions are available. The aperture ring allows to "remember" pre-installed aperture's meaning. This function is activated with the single aperture ring, You just have to press it and the aperture will fixed. * Focusing: from 0.24m up to infinity. * Special scale indicates macro ratio from 1:2 up to 1:3. * Mounting: Nikon F type bayonet, no aperture driver. * Mounting for different SLR, MFT & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread Nikon F adapters. * Resolution: (in pair of lines per mm) is not less than 42 in the center and 30 on the edge of frame. * Filter mount: M 52 x 0.75 mm. * Compact and light. * The lens was made in 1986 in USSR at Litkarino plant of optical glass (LZOS) near the Moscow city.
