**Pottery Class at DAW DIN CLUB Studio, Tainan**
During the class, you will learn basic pottery techniques. If you have any specific creation needs, you can discuss them with the instructor. The instructor will tailor the class to the pieces you wish to create, whether it's cups, bowls, plates, or figurines.

▶ Hand-building Class: If you wish to glaze your own work, you need to register for at least two classes. For a single-session registration, the instructor will handle the glazing. If you plan to create more complex pieces, please message us beforehand to inquire about the required number of sessions.
▶ Wheel-throwing Class: If you wish to learn trimming and glazing yourself, at least three sessions are required. For a single-session registration, the instructor will handle the trimming and glazing.
▶ Due to the intricate process of pottery making, it takes approximately 4-6 weeks from the creation of the unfired piece to its completion after firing. You will be notified upon completion and can choose to pick up your work at the studio or have it mailed.

Workshop Description

◎ Registration is required at least one day in advance.
◎ Cancellations must be made before 9:00 PM the day before the class. Cancellations on the day of the class will only allow for rescheduling, not refunds.
◎ It is recommended to trim your fingernails before the class for easier creation.
◎ We suggest wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, or you can use the provided communal apron.
◎ The class fee does not include the kiln firing cost, which will be charged separately based on the dimensions of your creation.
Calculation method: Length x Width x Height x 0.1.
◎ Due to the complex nature of pottery making, it takes approximately 4-6 weeks from the creation of the unfired piece to its completion after firing. You will be notified upon completion and can choose to pick up your work at the studio or have it mailed (shipping costs will be borne by the student).
◎ Due to the handmade nature, glaze characteristics, and non-human factors during the firing process (kiln temperature, ambient temperature, piece placement, etc.), unexpected effects may occur.
◎ If cracks or damage occur during the firing process due to the unfired piece being too thin or having delicate details, the risk is borne by the student, and the studio will not be liable for compensation.
◎ If the work is damaged due to human error by the studio, the instructor will create a similar piece as compensation. No compensation will be provided for damage caused by non-human factors.
