Handle: Green

Original vessels created by ceramic artist Morishita Shingo. The lid was created by woodworker Yasushi Shimizu to fit the container. With this combination, a new "lidded container" was created. What we would like to introduce to you today is a small bowl-shaped lidded piece with a handle. The vessel has a deep green tone and the handle is an accent. When you open the lid, the inside is bright. The lid, with its beautiful zelkova wood grain, and the streamlined knob give the piece movement. It is a piece that exudes dynamism and power. As an object, as a vessel... So, what would you put into this piece? How do you use it? ■Material: Container/Ceramics Lid: Zelkova, walnut ■Size: Length approx. 180mm, depth approx. 115mm, height approx. 114mm *The scale in the photo is 100mm in height. *The lid has a ceramic finish. It is resistant to moisture, but if left unattended it may stain, so if moisture gets on it, wipe it off as soon as possible. Also, do not use a dish dryer, dry it in direct sunlight, or use a microwave, as these may cause cracks or warping. Also, the lid is not airtight, so it is not suitable as a storage container for items that dislike moisture.
