As Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi once said, "The existence of ghost stories is what makes Hong Kong precious." Local ghost legends often reflect the social conditions, prevailing atmosphere, and unique historical backgrounds of their time, making them truly worth documenting and preserving. We hope to explore Hong Kong's century-long history, culture, and identity by compiling these century-old folk specter tales from Hong Kong. "Specters" uses "Shokugan" stickers as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost legends. These types of Shokugan stickers first appeared in 1977, included with Japanese snack packaging, typically measuring 4.8 x 4.8cm. They were commonly known as "chocolate cookie stickers," "Shokugan stickers," or "biscuit stickers." In the 80s and 90s, Hong Kong was heavily influenced by Japanese pop culture, and these "Shokugan stickers" became a collective childhood memory for many Hongkongers. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories, integrating them with Shokugan stickers to create a new medium, visually documenting a "Compendium of Yokai" that belongs to the people of Hong Kong. The project offers 100 Shokugan stickers themed around Hong Kong's specter legends. For each story, we've created a unique specter character and a brief introduction. The stickers feature special printing effects like laser sparkle, gold foil, and silver foil, enhancing the collectibility of "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Specters." The "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Specters" sticker series compiles tales of a hundred local specters, brought to life through original illustrations and text that delve into mysterious events. Volume 4 includes "Lam Tin's Luminous Dragon," "Sau Mau Ping's Mud Mother and Child," "Wah Fu Estate's Faceless Ghost," and "Wan Tau Tong's Headless Specter."
