The overall design draws inspiration from many British messenger and satchel bags. While based on classic styles, I've infused it with a distinct vintage feel. The actual product possesses the same refined quality as seen in the photos. The entire bag is made from premium Italian vegetable-tanned leather. As always, it's crafted using traditional tools, entirely by hand and hand-stitched, a meticulous process that was quite demanding. In short, this is a new creation I'm very pleased with. The vegetable-tanning method is one of the oldest and most traditional tanning processes. It perfectly preserves the natural texture and grain of the hide, including any wrinkles or marks from insect bites. You might find that vegetable-tanned leather doesn't have the smooth feel or uniform colour of other leathers. However, it is precisely this characteristic that gives items made from it such a unique character. Each piece of vegetable-tanned leather is truly one-of-a-kind.
