As our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which might look like minor "frays." While these are inherent to the use of vintage machinery and unavoidable, we diligently inspect every piece in our factory and take great care to avoid these areas when cutting the fabric. If found, we use them in less conspicuous locations. However, due to the nature of the machinery, eliminating them completely is not possible. We kindly ask that you embrace these weaving imperfections as a testament to the unique charm and craftsmanship of our vintage shuttle looms.
