When I made the third underwater wine glass, I realized that it was possible to rub the sides round because it was a burgundy-shaped round bowl.
Therefore, I decided to make the 4th edition a design that incorporates the circle as a design that cannot be done with other glasses.
At first, I thought about making a design that imagined a round moon and a shooting star-like night sky by rubbing it round, but I stopped because it was a design that even beginners could make.
* May be made in the 5th bullet.
However, I wanted to use the image of a star, so I decided to make the intersection of the curves a star, cut a straight line in contrast to it, and rub the intersection roundly.
In other words, we aimed for a design in which the following two are mixed and fused.
・ Basically straight, but design including round parts
・ Basically a curved line, but a design that includes a straight line
It is a design that has some designs that have the characteristics of each other, even though they are conflicting designs.
This was the initial design plan, but due to the surface area of the wine glass and the size of the campus, I came to the point where the design could not fit.
Therefore, I made the curved part straight.
If you apply it to the actual design, it will look like a white line.
It's similar to the structure of the initial plan.
The connection of stars is not a curve but a straight line.
When I actually scraped it, I got the impression that the glass was dark due to less lighting.
Therefore, I made a lot of additional cuts with ad lib so that it looks beautiful, and it became the current design.
The ad-lib cut line is based on the traditional pattern of chrysanthemum connection, but it is not the chrysanthemum connection itself.
But as you can see, the structure of the line is very complicated.
Normally, when cutting a chrysanthemum tie, the design is completed by the chrysanthemum tie alone, and there is almost no room to put anything in it.
However, this design is an astonishing design of scales from the eyes that there is a circle in the cut of the chrysanthemum connection base.
The reason why I came up with such a design is because the concept of the initial plan is solid.
Since it is an important blueprint, I usually do not show it to the outside, but I think it is interesting, so I will paint the part that can not be shown in black and publish it a little.
The fact that the circle is a straight line and is connected to various places is actually from the beginning
"The circle represents a person, and it connects with various people and lives supported by them."
I wanted to express that.
Because it is a wine glass that connects with various people
・ Network wine glass
・ Www (World Wide Web) Wine Glass
Only the name such as was mentioned during production.
I wondered if there was a Japanese word that simply expressed "connecting with people", and after it was completed, I started thinking about the name properly, but I couldn't find the right word for about an hour.
It was an hour later that I came up with the word "Yukari".
I thought that being connected to people and being helped and living was just a connection.
I think that it is one of the reasons that everyone is looking at this homepage like this now.
Let's enjoy this connection.
* It is a double entender of the meaning of the edge and the meaning of the edge (related) wine glass.
The Kiriko of our workshop is polished using the traditional method of Edo Kiriko, "hand polishing", which maintains the strength of the glass and finishes it with high quality.
On the other hand, there are some things in the world that polish the glass while immersing it in an acid called "acid polishing" and melting the entire glass into pieces.
