Handmade Rolling Pin from South American Rosewood, crafted in Taiwan. Characteristics: Dense, high hardness, excellent durability, naturally oily, with a fine grain. It is resistant to mold. To clean, rinse with warm or cool water using a soft cleaning tool. After washing, wipe away any residual moisture and store in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight exposure or placing in environments with high humidity or rapid temperature fluctuations. Do not use in dishwashers, dish dryers, or ovens. It is common for the rolling pin to "bleed color" during use or cleaning; this is typically a natural occurrence. • Why does it bleed color? Wood Pigments: Different woods contain natural pigments or resins that may be released when in contact with water or food juices. Humidity Effects: Wood expands when wet, making it easier for internal pigments or residues to leach out. Rolling Pin Properties: New rolling pins may exhibit color bleeding in the initial stages of use, which usually improves after a few uses. Natural wood is not a uniform material. Minor imperfections in the wood or processing do not affect structural integrity or functionality and are considered within normal tolerance.
