Made with two-part epoxy resin, colored with inks. The handle is finished with vanilla cream-colored paint, adorned with a cherry charm. This fan is made of epoxy resin and is heavier than a conventional fan, making it less efficient for quick cooling and not ideal for immediate relief from heat. ♦︎ About Materials Materials from the sea are either self-collected or purchased from suppliers, with only high-quality pieces selected for use. However, as natural materials, please understand that degradation, breakage, or discoloration may occur over time due to aging. While the condition is beautiful, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this. ♦︎ About Resin Products We use a resin that is resistant to yellowing, but please understand that it will gradually change to an antique color over time. Individuals with resin allergies should refrain from purchasing. ♦︎ About Kintsugi Kintsugi is a restoration technique for chipped or cracked teacups and pottery, where broken pieces are mended with lacquer and often finished with gold powder, giving the appearance of being joined with gold. At HISEI, we use a method called "simple kintsugi" which does not involve real lacquer. Therefore, there are no allergies from urushiol. However, a slight scent characteristic of Japanese materials may remain, but this will dissipate over time. Please be aware of this. ♦︎ Please exercise caution when purchasing if you have allergies. ♦︎ As a characteristic of epoxy resin, discoloration, degradation, and color changes may occur due to UV radiation under direct sunlight.
