Examine item's photos please. The shutter is working fine (serviced). The lens is enough clean to produce nice images, no fungus, no scratches, but cleaning marks can be found. Aperture is smooth. Viewfinder is sharp, bright and clean, rangefinder looks correct. Self timer works properly. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Frame size 24x36mm. * Film type: usual 135 type film cassettes are applicable. * Complex slit shutter off profiled metallic stripes. * Shutter speeds: B, 1/2-1/1250 sec., synchronization with flash at 1/25 and more long shutter speeds. The camera has cable connection PC "synchro" socket, it is the feature of Kiev-IIA camera, Kiev-II have no such flash connection. * The lens: Jupiter-8 1:2.0 F=50mm is a copy of Zeiss Sonnar, Contax external bayonet. Early lenses are with red P index, but later on all Soviet lenses became coated and the index was removed since 1960th years. * Lens mount: Contax type internal (for standard focus lenses) and external (for other lenses) bayonet. * Viewfinder is for 50mm lens. * Filter mount M 40.5 x 0.75 mm. * Tripod socket 3/8" (old type). * Self timer is presented. * The camera is a very nice in using and highly collectible. * The camera was made in 1956 at Kiev city at Arsenal plant.
