The concho is crafted from a polished Ethiopian old coin, a 25 Santim copper coin featuring the Lion of Judah, a familiar motif at Rasta. As it oxidizes, it will gradually deepen to a dark brown, developing a captivating patina. The leather cord securing the concho is made from 98% pure Karen silver. The edges are finished with a burnishing technique using beeswax. With use, the pouch will naturally conform to the shape of your shag tobacco bag. *Please note there are minor scratches on the leather around the concho and some dirt on the back of the pouch and the paper compartment.
