This piece was created using the base design from my work titled "Swaying Light ~Silver~" (Yureru Hikari ~Shirogane~). For this version, I have set a peridot gemstone with a stunning fresh-green hue, creating a piece where you can enjoy both the luster of the silver and the subtle sparkle of the stone. "Silver 925" Silver 925 (also known as Sterling Silver) is an alloy composed of 92.5% silver mixed with other metals, such as copper. Pure silver (100% purity) lacks the durability required for jewelry, which is why Silver 925 is the standard choice for most silver accessories on the market. Notably, Silver 925 in its raw material form is rarely sold directly to the general public. Like brass, silver can tarnish—turning black or yellow—due to exposure to elements in the air (a process known as sulfidation). To maintain its shine, wipe the piece clean after contact with water or sweat, and store it in a way that minimizes exposure to air. While you can remove tarnish using a silver polishing cloth, please exercise caution; these cloths contain abrasives, so excessive polishing or accidental contact with natural stones could cause scratches. The most important precaution concerns hot springs. Exposure to sulfur in hot spring water can turn the silver pitch-black, potentially making it impossible to restore; therefore, please strictly avoid wearing silver jewelry while bathing in hot springs.
