This is a four-strand bracelet crafted from antique green mixed seed beads. The green beads are vintage seed beads from India. They feature a blend of transparent green and opaque, muted turquoise blue. These beads have been cherished for many years, dating back to the 19th-20th centuries. (Bead size: 2-2.5mm) The clasp is adorned with an Indo-Pacific bead in an emerald blue hue. This is an antique bead known as an Indo-Pacific bead, with origins tracing back to the 2nd century BC. The specific beads used here are archaeological finds from Indonesia, dating to around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! Golden beads are from old Orissa brass, rare and ancient beads sourced from the Orissa region of India. The small Karen silver beads on the clasp are individually stamped. The intricate, handcrafted nature of these stamps is truly captivating. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is made by a hill tribe living in the Thai-Burma region. Each piece is handcrafted, and the silver is said to be of very high purity. The clasp itself is made of turquoise (Turquoise size: 1.2cm diameter).
