Spider and Dragonfly limited edition framed print. Last one! "Spider and Dragonfly," is a limited edition framed art print that is part of my insect series. This piece and the rest of the insect series captures the intricate dance between nature and urbanization. The artwork features a golden orb web spider and a dragonfly, each adorned with imagined cities and structures on their bodies. On the dragonfly, central Taiwan towns such as Mailiao were the inspiration. On the spider the structures are from the large industrial naphtha plant that dominates the landscape in that area. The focus on this particular drawing was air pollution, which was a prominent part of a couple of visits to this area. The colors are inspired by the reds and purples that the air quality apps display on especially bad days. Printed on archival quality matte art paper and hand-signed and numbered. It's set in a sleek black frame and the raised portion with a border adds depth. Including the frame this piece measures 67 x 49 cm This is print #1 of 2. However print #2 has already been sold leaving this as the final one. Delivery within Taiwan is included in the price. This piece can be sent internationally but not to America
