Born and raised in Taiwan, I aim to create pieces inspired by the unique people and things found here. This high-mountain plant is commonly found growing at altitudes of 1,600 to 3,000 meters. It thrives in sunny, exposed areas, often beneath forests or other roadside plants. Despite its name, it's a small subshrub that grows either prostrate along the ground or slightly upright. The calyx is broadly bell-shaped with five lobes. After the flower withers, the calyx gradually enlarges, eventually enveloping the entire fruit. The fruit is juicy and can be used as a survival plant in the wild. It's said to taste remarkably like Salonpas. Approximately 4.5 cm in total length.
