The stitches of sashiko are very small, some liken them to grains of rice, others to falling snowflakes. At the time, people would embroider simple patterns with these tiny stitches, which, over time, evolved into an art form. It is first woven, then dyed with reactive indigo dye, followed by a reduction dyeing process and a foam ball treatment. The neckline and hem adhere to tradition, utilizing a vintage rolled hem technique. The garment weighs approximately 250 grams, showcasing meticulous attention to detail, classic style, and refined taste. The item has undergone a color-fixing treatment and will not fade further. Indigo-dyed items may release some loose dye during the first wash; please avoid washing with light-colored garments.
