Learn from the beginning from centering, drilling, heightening, and trimming. Drawing requires a long period of practice before you can produce a satisfactory work. The work needs to be divided into stages. Shaping, trimming, biscuit firing and glazing are not allowed for single-room experience. ■ The first class requires a separate demonstration by the teacher. Please arrive on time at 2:00. For subsequent classes, please make a separate reservation with the teacher three days before the class date. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday 14:30~ Class starts at 17:00 and starts in the classroom (only the first time is 14:00~17:00). ■ The four lessons must be used up within two months after the first lesson. It is recommended for beginners to take lessons every week so as not to forget the steps. ■ Please note that during a limited period of time, course teachers can only teach in English. If you are unable to speak to students in English, please confirm with the teacher before registering. ■ Classroom address: 1st Floor, No. 13, Lane 134, Siwei Road, Da'an District, Taipei City, near the intersection of Dunhua South Road and Xinyi Road, a 6-minute walk from Da'an MRT Station ■ Courses that start one week before the start date can be purchased directly. For courses that start within four days, please ask if there are seats before placing an order. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50392930226_266e0eb9d9_c_d.jpg **Course flow:** ■ Please arrive at the classroom ten minutes before class starts to familiarize yourself with the environment ■ After the teacher demonstrates the pulling techniques, the students can practice on their own. During the practice, the teacher will provide guidance according to the situation. Pulling requires long-term practice, dialogue with the clay, absorption and adjustment by oneself, and cannot be learned immediately. ■ After the work is formed, it must be left in the classroom for a week to dry. The work will be repaired next time. After the work is completed, it will be dried and fired. After the work is fired, it will be glazed in the studio. The work must be completed in multiple times. ■ The course time includes cleaning of broken machines, tools and environment, please arrange your own time. ■ The work needs to be fully dried before firing. After firing is completed in two to three weeks, students will be notified to come and collect it. **Lecturer introduction:** After Perry finished his ten-year financial career in Taipei and Shanghai Overseas Commercial Bank in 2016, he returned to Taipei to establish Youyu Ceramics, hoping to share the happiness he gained from ceramic creation with everyone. Because I am not from a professional school, I am better able to understand the problems and precautions that ordinary beginners will encounter in creation. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50381425722_fef4283eb2_c_d.jpg **Charge method:** ■ The course fee includes the use of clay, raw materials, and tools. An additional kiln firing fee will be charged based on the volume of the work (length*width*height cubic centimeters*0.15 yuan, the minimum height is 4 centimeters). If a single piece of transparent glaze is required, The minimum kiln firing fee is 50 yuan, and the minimum fee for a single piece without transparent glaze is 30 yuan. ■ A fee of RMB 150 per person per half hour will be charged if the course exceeds the time limit ■ If you cannot pick up your works in China, you can choose home delivery service from convenience stores.
