Gold particles adhere to the brass through an electrical current, forming a uniform coating. This enhances the beauty and durability of the jewelry. * The plating on electroplated jewelry will wear down over time (especially in areas frequently in contact with skin or subject to friction) and will gradually fade, which is a normal phenomenon. * Please remove jewelry before showering or visiting hot springs. * Although the earrings in this design studio are made of gold-plated material, because they have less contact with sweat and friction, storing them back on their earring card and inside the resealable bag or plastic box provided when not worn can help maintain their color and allow for extended wear! As earrings have minimal contact and friction with the skin, gold-plated materials can last for a long time!
