This is not a flaw or dirt; this treatment enhances the copper's rust resistance, making it less prone to developing black spots over time. Each piece will undergo basic polishing and finishing before shipment, neither of which affects the copper's integrity or the final wax seal impression. ❖ ◤Instructions for Use 1. Prepare your tools: Hammer, wax sticks, lighter, alcohol lamp, baby oil (apply baby oil to the stamp before use to prevent wax from sticking). 2. Break a wax stick into small pieces and place them in the spoon until about 80% full. Light the alcohol lamp and heat until the wax melts (with slight bubbling). 3. Let the heated liquid wax sit and cool for a few tens of seconds to prevent overheating, which can cause bubbling and an uneven impression. 4. Slowly pour the melted wax onto the area you wish to seal. Press the wax seal stamp vertically into the wax. Wait a few seconds before lifting to achieve a beautiful wax seal. * Please perform this in a well-ventilated area at all times. * Be mindful that if the paper is too thin, the wax may adhere to the back.
