Old, Dutch "mansbakje" that was used by an organgrinder mid last century on the streets of Holland to collect money.
Barrel organs were very popular in olden days and can still be seen on Dutch town centers today. The organgrinders shake their mansbakje on the rhythm of the music to persuade passersby to put some small change in it.
This piece is in fairly good condition with signs of aging and usage that are consistent with its age. The photographs are a part of the description.
