At Heart Bouquet, we have often presented ginkgo motif brooches. This time, our inspiration comes from the ginkgo-lined avenue in Jingu Gaien, a renowned ginkgo viewing spot in Tokyo. While ginkgos are typically admired for their golden glow in late autumn and early winter, there's a unique charm in their deep green hue during the seasons when they offer cool, shaded paths to passersby as street trees. We've cherished and carefully preserved the realistic expression of these ginkgo leaves, envisioning a special way to wear them. This design allows for versatile styling, thanks to its detailed craftsmanship on both the front and back. The ginkgo leaves are surrounded by various shades of green vintage glass stones. We've depicted the depth of the green foliage along the avenue using a pointillist technique with layers of different green glass stones. You can enjoy a spectrum of colors, uniquely expressed through the variety of glass used in a single brooch. On the right side of the leaf, you'll find stones in transparent yellowish-green stripes, "Givre" glass stones with a transparent yellowish-green hue encased within, smooth, deep green stones, and "Sabrina" glass stones where a green color is enveloped in white opal. The Sabrina glass stone at the top left, while seemingly a simple navette shape, features incredibly delicate embossed patterns along its edges. This meticulous detail, rarely seen in modern craftsmanship, is a hallmark of vintage pieces. Small Swarovski crystal beads are scattered like dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. Enjoy the sparkling, falling sunlight that appears as the light changes. The round Givre beads accompanying the leaves are Czech glass beads. From the tip of the ginkgo leaf, a drop of chrome diopside glistens. We have selected a stone of exquisite quality. This brooch is available in two color variations of the same design: antique silver finish and a different colorway. One represents the fresh green ginkgo leaves of late spring and early summer, and the other captures the ginkgo leaves dancing in the autumn memories of overlapping seasons.
