Handmade Wooden Fountain Pen

It is a handmade fountain pen, made from Thai palm wood. The grip section was made of Turkish catalin that is used to make famous Turkish prayer beads. The catalin is a so interesting material that its colour saturates with time and it becomes more valuable. The pen was carefully shaped on a wood lathe with hand tools. The coupling elements were hand made from brass on a metal lathe. The pen is CA gloss finished. It is a bespoke item that was made without a pen kit.
