Wang Huaiqing: Fifty Years of Painting Exhibition Catalogue

Asia University Museum of Modern Art is proud to present a significant exhibition from March 24, 2024, to October 13, 2024: "Wang Huaiqing: Fifty Years of Painting" This exhibition catalogue features paintings by Chinese artist Wang Huaiqing (born 1944), spanning from the 1970s to his recent works, showcasing a curated selection of his most representative pieces over a fifty-year career. Wang Huaiqing delves into the history of Chinese art and material culture, unearthing formal elements and motifs ripe for exploration. He then translates these discoveries into his paintings, expressing his personal perspective on culture and history.
