【Stray Cat Rescue Project】 The day before renovating the Sanshing Four Seasons Blue and white studio, I visited the site alone and was met with the common torrential rain of Yilan. Seeking shelter in the dark old house, I unexpectedly spotted a white cat by the window. It sat quietly, creating a memorable and beautiful image against the rainy backdrop. As the studio took shape, I noticed many local stray cats living around the Sanshing Four Seasons Blue and white studio. They often suffer from injuries and illnesses due to territorial disputes or continuous breeding. To help these lovely cats live happier lives, we launched the "Stray Cat Rescue Project." Although I am allergic to cat hair and cannot keep cats indoors, I adore them. This project allows me to care for cats outdoors, which brings me a sense of comfort. Every day, I watch the cats come and go, capturing their likenesses with my brush. Inspired by these neighborhood strays, we've created a series of cat-themed works, infused with playful and anthropomorphic elements. These creations were well-loved by friends, leading us to gradually transform our records of the cats into merchandise, allowing fellow cat enthusiasts to bring a piece of their charm into their own lives. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of our cat series will be dedicated to the Stray Cat Rescue Project fund. These funds will be used to provide essential medical care, food, and spaying/neutering services for the stray cats. I sincerely thank you all for your compassion towards stray cats.
