[Handling method/Precautions]
●Crack-like streaks created by the difference in contraction rate between the base material and the glaze are called intrusions. Penetration goes inside the glaze, so you can use it with confidence.
●Mangetsu kiln works use natural clay, so the organic matter contained in the glaze will become small dents after firing, and you may see small pin depressions on the surface. This is called a pinhole, and is a phenomenon peculiar to pottery.
●Mangetsu kiln works use natural clay, so the iron contained in the clay may remain as small black or brown dots after firing. There is no problem in using the color inside the base or between the base and the glaze, so please use it with confidence.
