This is a flower vase with a pattern made using glue tips.
Cover the outside with transparent navy blue glass,
Form it into a cylindrical shape that tapers toward the mouth.
The clear glass is masked and then sandblasted.
Apply glue to the blasted area and allow it to dry and shrink.
The surface of the glass was thinly peeled off to create a pattern.
The parts that the glue did not remove remain like frosted glass.
As you can see in the third photo, the areas where the glue has been peeled off have become lighter in color.
There is a trace of a bubble that was in the glass.
This pattern was commonly seen on window glass during the Showa era.
The pattern changes depending on how the glue dries, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
In the fifth photo I have inserted lisianthus and Japanese privet.
*This is not heat-resistant glass.
