Achung's artistic career began in the 1960s. From political cartoons to ink sketches full of life wisdom, he has been creating unremittingly for more than 50 years. In the early 1980s, after immigrating to the United States, he developed a new experience in his art world under the pseudonym of Ah Chong, using ink as a medium, accompanied by sometimes thought-provoking and sometimes comforting words and paintings. The flowers, birds, insects, fish, market figures, philosophers and monks in the book have been with readers for more than 30 years, bringing them the relief of heavy real life. At the beginning of August 2018, Ah Chong passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Rockingham, USA.
